Hello doctor, I am a mother from Kosovo, and I wanted to ask a question. I have a 16-year-old son with alopecia areata for 8 years. All his blood tests are normal. As soon as his hair starts to grow, it begins to fall out again. My question is, could you possibly help me in any way to bring him to you, because here in Kosovo they tell me there is nothing to be done. With respect, Shpresa Berisha

Hello, I have a question regarding a problem I have with the skin on my foot. More precisely, between my toes, I have cracks and burning sensations. Often there's itching which then leads to a worsening of the foot's condition as the irritation causes what seems to be a leakage of fluid, possibly coming from the cracks. From the information I found on the internet, I learned that this type of infection is called "Vesicular infections." I'm not sure if I am correct in diagnosing this, however, I found out that I should use a kind of solution called Burow's solution or otherwise known as aluminum acetate. I don't know what you would recommend or if you are aware of this preparation? Is it available in our country? Thank you very much for your response and your time. Arlinda

Hello,
since we are from Macedonia, we would like to ask if you can inform us about the possibilities of treating staphylococcus in the external ear, meaning the ear has the staphylococcus aureus bacteria. If you can help us, we will make an appointment to come to Albania

I would like to know if I could make a visit for my hands. According to my last visit, they said it was eczema but no clear answer on what kind and I received a medication which I finished and the results are zero; not only do they persist but they have also spread to parts of my foot. And they cause itching and pain. Please, can you give me an explanation or if it's necessary to look at the condition more closely, is there a possibility for an appointment? If yes, where and when would you be available... Thank you. I await a response

Hello doctor. I am a 23-year-old citizen from Kukës. Over the years, I have taken medications due to an illness I had, which gave me oral thrush and skin fungus on my face (eyebrows and beard). I have used oral Daktarin and cream but without long-lasting results, I even took medication in Italy that fixed it for a short while. What do you recommend? Thank you very much, Liridoni

Hello Dr. Kujtimja. Thank you very much for these pages. I would briefly mention that over the years I have used medications due to a disease I once had, these medications gave me oral thrush. Also, I am "infected" with skin fungus which I have in my beard and eyebrows (in some cases, and in other parts of the body). Without consulting any doctor, I used oral nectarine for the mouth and cream for the skin (healing or alleviation, to say differently, which only lasted for some time). With the advice of a friend, I took a medication in Italy, which gave results after one day of use but lasted only a short while and then reappeared. God bless you from Kukes
