• Tipin dhe stadin e kancerit Nese sensistivitetin ndaj disa hormoneve.
• Ne ekspresivitetin e genit HER2.

Ne pergjithesi trajtimi i kancerit te gjirit perfshin:

• Kimioterapi
• Radioterapi
• Kirurgji – kuadratektomi ose mastektomi.

Terapia hormonale aplikohet ne rastet ER pozitive nje shembull i terapise hormonale eshte Tamoksifeni, i cili bllokon efektet e estrogjenit.
