Hello doctor, I am Vjollca from Gostivar, I have had problems with esophageal narrowing for 10 years - I underwent surgery 10 years ago but now I have the same problem again - achalasia. Two months ago, I started another intervention - balloon dilation, the expansion of the esophagus nerve with a balloon through gastroscopy. What do you think, how effective is all this work and will it completely heal, or will there be other consequences? Thank you for your understanding..

Dear Vjollca, Your information regarding esophageal achalasia is not sufficient to judge the problem you have, but normally after the surgical operation, the achalasia issue is completely resolved. In your case, you have experienced a return of difficulty in swallowing food, and balloon dilation might be a solution but not always permanent, because sometimes the problem returns. For this issue, you need to tell me about the examinations you have had, that is, the gastroscopy and the contrast esophagram so that I can give you a more accurate answer regarding the recurrence or not of the situation

Hello, I am the mother of a 6-year-old boy who has continuous abdominal swelling which causes him breathing difficulties. I have done all the tests for him, including for gluten, abdominal ultrasound, and it showed a thickening of the walls of the small intestines for which the pediatrician recommended Bioflor. I am a 34-year-old man living in England, and I was diagnosed with chronic Hepatitis B four months ago. I had an ultrasound for the liver and the surrounding organs, and they came out fine, unaffected. I also had blood tests where initially; the viral load was 1300, the second time 300, and the last ALT 35 and Hep B DNA level 3200. When I met the doctor, he said LFT normal, HBsAG+ and HBeAG-. Could you please tell me if there is any medication for a cure and if Hep B disappears in my case, and anything else that would help me.
