"Vampire Therapy", autologous plasma therapy (Part Two)

The growth factors released by platelets are:

  • Platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF)
  • Transforming growth-factor-beta (TGF-b)
  • Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)
  • Epidermal growth factor (EGF)
  • Fibroblast growth factor-2 (FGF-2)
  • Insulin-like growth factor (IGF)

These growth factors assist in healing and regeneration through these processes:

  • Attracting undifferentiated embryonic cells to the injection site causing new cellular division and the formation of new tissue.
  • Stopping the release of cytokines and limiting inflammation.
  • Helping in the attraction of macrophages to improve healing and tissue regeneration.
  • Stimulating the creation of blood capillaries (formation of new blood vessels), thereby encouraging and accelerating epithelization.

Pathologies where plasma therapy is used:

  • Leg ulcers as a result of venous and arterial insufficiency.
  • Diabetic ulcers.
  • Burn wounds.
  • Wounds from various traumas or surgical wounds.
  • Skin scars.

In hair loss - PRP plasma treatments have shown to regenerate damaged hair follicles and stimulate the growth of new hair.

Facial regeneration - plasma injections treat wrinkles, sun damage and aging of the face, and the elimination of facial spots.

Plasma treatment is immunologically neutral and does not pose a risk for hypersensitivity or allergies.

Case studies conducted in a number of countries have also shown that patients who may have moderate wrinkles due to sun exposure and/or simply due to age benefit from plasma treatment.

The results show that when plasma is applied with superficial or deep injections into the skin, it significantly stimulates skin regeneration, tonicity, and hydration, and these are observed within 3 weeks from its application and in the following months.

The areas that are typically treated with plasma include around the eyes, facial wrinkles, the neck, hands, and stretch marks after pregnancy.

It must be applied by specialized medical personnel (dermatologist, plastic surgeon) because it requires medical knowledge and sterile conditions in its preparation.

Combined plasma therapy with other therapies such as mesotherapy (injecting vitamin cocktails into the face), application of peeling therapy, and the application of non-ablative lasers significantly enhances regeneration and leads to what everyone seeks Permanent Youth.
