Electromagnetic frequencies influence DNA, RNA, and protein synthesis, disrupting the shape and function of proteins and affecting genes, cell division and differentiation, morphogenesis (the process by which cells cluster to form tissues and organs), hormonal secretions, as well as the development and functioning of the nervous system.
The amount of energy emitted by a cell phone depends on the device model, the technology, but above all, the distance between the phone and the antenna or the signal repeater. The farther away from the antenna, the more power is needed to stabilize communication, that is, to "have network". Likewise, when the phone is inside a metallic structure, this can serve as insulation, and the emitted energy can be higher. A specific case is that of a car, whose metallic skeleton increases the energy emitted by the cell phone.
Radiations emitted by cell phones are of the “high frequency” type because they are in the band (strip) of 900 MHz – 2.4 GHz, and are of the non-ionizing type. Non-ionizing means that these are waves that do not change (modify) the chemical structure of substances and matter they encounter on their path.
To interfere or affect molecules, the wavelength itself must be small, and as a result, of high frequency. Therefore, the fact is that waves emitted by cell phones do not interact directly with the molecules of a substance or, in the case that interests us, with the molecules of the human body.
But this does not mean that radiations emitted by cell phones have no effect on our body, because from a thermal perspective, waves generate heat in body tissues, which as a result warm up. This can be easily noticed by comparing the temperature of the arm where the cell phone was held during a 20-minute call, with the temperature of the other arm.
A study has shown that when a person uses a cell phone for 50 minutes without interruption, brain tissues on the side of the cell phone metabolize more glucose compared to the other side. It is not yet clear whether this altered state poses risks. At least, the study in question confirms that prolonged use of the cell phone has an effect on the human body.
In the current state of affairs, no biological mechanism is known to explain how non-ionizing radiations could cause cancer.
Cell phone frequencies interfere with the functioning of other life-saving devices, including Pace-Makers, and thus can cause immediate death.
Damage caused by electromagnetic waves of cell phones can also affect male sterility. Dr. Fiona Mathews concluded that the sperm of those who kept the phone in their front pocket was 8% worse compared to others.
Therefore, it would be highly advisable to abandon the habit of keeping the phone in the front pockets of trousers, better keep it in the back pockets. These results do not show that those who keep the phone in their pocket necessarily become sterile, however, until proven otherwise, it would be good to keep it in another place.
Cell phone radiation can cause irreversible damage to male fertility. They are extremely dangerous for children and pregnant women. Therefore, future mothers are advised to reduce conversations as much as possible.
Also, you should only hold the cell phone to your ear when it starts to create a connection with the other number you are calling, because radiation is higher during the search for the number. And finally, cell phones should be kept in a bag, away from vital organs, and not in pockets.
