Ozone in chronic foot ulcers (Part four)

Case 9. A 73-year-old man had an accident with a Th12 fracture, tibial plateau fracture, and damage to the left knee's posterior cruciate ligament. After the operation and immobilization with a cast for 40 days, he presented with a partially epithelialized fistulous lesion on the middle third of his foot. Alongside local treatment, ozone-bagging was started three times a week. After two months, the ulcer was completely healed.
